The pharmacy uses cutting-edge technology to speed up the dispensing process and minimise the risk of errors. There’s a team of qualified pharmacy technicians to safely oversee the dispensing process, so the pharmacists are freed up to support patients and provide many new services such as NHS Pharmacy First, Travel Health, Blood Pressure testing and ear-wax removal (click below for a full list).

Graham invested over £150,000 in “Spencer the Dispenser” the pharmacy’s dispensing robot and “Ant & Dec” the two prescription collection points. Once Spencer has dispensed your prescription, the Tech team double-check it for accuracy and places it ready for collection in Ant or Dec (amazon-type lockers). As soon as your prescription is ready the pharmacy sends a text so you can collect 24/7 365 at any time.

Community Pharmacy Hertfordshire supports all community pharmacies across Hertfordshire.

The awards are judged by 4 independent experts who said our pharmacy is: “Understanding and responsive to demand.” ”Utilised full training and engaged with GPs” and is “Embracing the change that we need to see across our network”.
